Travel Blog

 

Each year, the board members and/or members of Patimalawi travel to Malawi for 2-3 weeks. During these trips, our projects are discussed with the YCD team, affected individuals, families, and the prison are visited, active participation in the projects takes place, and a personal understanding of the current poverty situation is gained. This firsthand experience allows us to truly grasp and understand the living conditions of the people. These trips are an essential part of fostering good communication and cooperation between the two organizations.

The next trip to Malawi will take place over Pentecost 2025. Birgit (President) and Matthias (Board Member) will spend two weeks visiting our projects in Nchalo.
